The Arthropod Museum is located in Room 314 of the Agriculture Building (AGRI on the campus map), near the intersection of Maple Street and Oakland Avenue on the University of Arkansas campus. It is easily reached by proceeding east for approximately ¾ mile on US Highway 62 (West 6th Street) from Exit 62 of Interstate 540 (US Highway 71). Turn left onto Razorback Road (Arkansas Route 112), where you will see a large sign indicating the entrance to the University of Arkansas campus, and proceed north, past Razorback Stadium. Turn right onto Maple Street, and remain in the right lane.

If you wish to park in the parking garage of the Intermodal Transit Facility (IMTF on the campus map), take the first right and proceed south on Stadium Drive. Watch for signs indicating visitor parking. The cost for parking in the garage is $1.10 per hour. Bring plenty of loose change!

After parking your vehicle, take the stairs or elevator to the top of the building, and walk northwest, across the square between Arkansas Union (ARKU) and Mullins Library (MULN), past the School of Human Environmental Sciences (HOEC), to the Agriculture Building (AGRI).

If you are coming for only a brief visit, you can park for 90 minutes in the Visitor Lot between the Administration Building (ADMN) and Silas Hunt Hall (HUNT) on Maple Street, just past Stadium Drive. The cost is $2.00 per hour. Bring plenty of quarters!

If you wish to drop off passengers at the Agriculture Building, proceed along Maple Street, through that intersection with Garland Avenue, when the signal permits, pass by the Leflar Law Center (LAWC) on the right, and then turn right before reaching the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center (ROSE) and its attached greenhouses. Proceed around the back of the greenhouses to the northwest corner of the Agriculture Building. Passengers can be dropped off here.

Visitor parking is not permitted in the vicinity of the Agriculture Building. However, the following options are available:

On-street parking might be available on streets to the north of the Agriculture Building (Douglas Street, Lindell Avenue, Oakland Avenue, Storer Avenue, etc.)

Visitors can obtain a temporary visitor-parking permit at the Transit and Parking Department (Administrative Services Building – ADSB) as they enter the campus from Razorback Road. The temporary permit allows you to park on campus in Faculty/Staff (yellow) lots, On Campus student (solid red) lots, Off Campus student (solid green) lots, Commuter (orange) lots, and at gray parking meters (NOT at gold parking meters) without paying a fee. The temporary visitor parking permit DOES NOT allow parking in Reserved (blue) spaces, Resident Reserved spaces, 24-hour reserved spaces, the Parking Deck, or at the gold parking meters. To see the University parking map, click HERE. Permits cost $4.20 per day and are available Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. For more information, see the Visitor Parking Permit web page.

School buses may drop off passengers in front of the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center (ROSE) on Maple Street, and then park in Lot 56 at the corner of Razorback Road and US Highway 62. A few days ahead of your visit, please call the Parking and Transit Office at 479/575-3507 to make sure space will be available for your school bus on the day of your visit.
