Arthropod Museum

The University of Arkansas Arthropod Museum (AGRI 314) is equipped with Zeiss DRC dissecting microscopes with fiber-optic lighting and photomicrography attachments, microprojector for drawing slide-mounted microscopic structures, and all supplies and equipment necessary for insect collecting, mounting and curation.

Arthropod Museum

The Museum currently houses a collection of approximately 750,000 specimens of insects and other arthropods, and is adjacent to the Molecular Systematics Laboratory.

Access to a scanning electron microscope is also available at the Arkansas Research and Extension Center.
